Sorry, I mixed up the comic this morning. The correct version of the page should be up now. If all you are seeing is the thumbnail, hit refresh and it should be replaced with the correct page.

Hey folks, Chapter 5 is finishing up soon and that means it is time for everyone’s favorite redhead witch to answer you’re questions. Once again, feel free to leave questions, praise, comments and criticism that she will be happy to answer. She’ll be responding in an upcoming comic, so if you’d like to see yourself mentioned, please give a holler.

Send me the info or post in the comments, I’ll be sure to pass it on: Email Facebook Twitter
Hey Rune Readers, Chapter 5 wrapped up this week and I hope that you enjoyed learning a little bit more about Nanno. When Rune Hunters returns, we’ll return to Asura’s side of the story. I can’t say much about it right now, except that the witches might be getting wet and wild on their next adventure. In the meantime, I’ve got some good funny comics lined up for the next few weeks while I recover from finishing the last chapter. So stay tuned and I hope that you enjoy.
Hey Rune Readers, I finally put up a piece I’ve wanted to for a while. I figured this weeks heavily gray comic needed a splash of color to accompany it, even if the color is largely pink. Hope you enjoy.
Well, not as a guest or featured artist or anything cool like that. I’ll just be heading attending the Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle tomorrow. There I’ll be checking out booths, hitting up panels and passing out Rune Hunters fliers. If I’m lucky, I might catch a glimpse of Leonard Nimoy, Stan Lee and Wil Wheaton.
In case you just found this site because of the above mentioned fliers, welcome, I hope you stick around. In case you’re wondering why there seems to be a distinct lack of runes and/or hunting in today’s comic, that’s because I am between chapters and am doing one off comics for a few weeks. Until then, why not get caught up on the story thus far.
As for you regular readers wondering where all the Rune Hunters have gone, don’t worry they’ll be back very soon. The draft on the sixth chapter is coming along well.
Yes, this is the last week of side comics before the main course. The next chapter of Rune Hunters will begin next Sunday. Sorry about the abnormally long break, things are finally starting to settle down around here and I can concentrate on the series proper.
Hello Rune Readers, as some of you may have noticed, this site has been devoid of both runes and the hunting thereof for little over a month. In their stead has been a glut of comics about either food or sci-fi video games. As I stated in a previous news post, I was going on a short break in between Nanno’s chapter and the next one. I usually need some downtime between chapters, otherwise I tend to go crazy.
I wasn’t expecting an avalanche of issues to fall into my life at around the same time. Without going into the details, I’ve managed to sort through most all of them and am in prime condition to get the show back on the road. The next chapter is turning out nicely and I am very excited about the path that Asura and her friends are headed on.
I love my Rune Hunters story and characters, and I never planned to abandon it. Sorry for all of the silly and pointless comics the last five weeks, I’ll try not to take such a long break in the future.
Hey Rune Readers, Cokomon here. I just wanted to let everyone know that I will be featuring my work in the upcoming Olympia Arts-Walk on April 23-24. I will be located in the Say This, Say That office building and will be featuring many of my original artwork pieces. If live in or around the Olympia, Lacey or Tumwater area and want to check it out, all our welcome. If none of that has you enticed, keep in mind that these office are near the Fish Tale brewery and brew pub.
Wow, this comic has been around for 2 years already? Well, this site hasn’t been around that long, but it has been 2 years since I posted the first page on deviantArt. I’m still moving along with the main plot after all this time, even if I do occasionally succumb to bouts of video game based randomness. Hopefully you Rune Readers out there are still enjoying the comic and getting a kick out of the characters. There are some great stories to come, this is just the beginning for Asura, Ada, Nanno and the rest of the crew.
I have a special treat coming up soon to celebrate the 2 year mark. Stay tuned as more details come together.
It’s been a little while since I’ve posted some fanart works. I recently did up a piece from Final Fantasy VI. Check it out and enjoy.
