Posted this over on deviantArt, fanart piece of Haruhi Suzumiya from, well, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. Been so busy lately it’s been nice to have a little time to do some fanart.

Hey Rune Readers, I’m finally back from my honeymoon. I’ll have a longer post about PAX and my trip to the San Juans. For now, though, I put together a picture from Mario Bros 2. Hope you enjoy.

Do you have a Facebook account and enjoy the comic stylings of Rune Hunters? Then why not take a look at the Facebook Rune Hunters page. Maybe even become a fan while you’re there, you’ll be glad that you did.
As you may know, Rune Hunters Chapter 4 is drawing to a close and that means I will be taking a short sabbatical before diving into the next one. While I am away, I’m leaving everyone’s favorite number two witch in charge, Kate Sweeney.
Feel free to ask her any questions that you may have, or just leave her comments, praise or criticisms. All are welcome and your post/email might just end up in an upcoming comic.
So feel free to ask Kate whatever, she’s eager to know what is on your mind.

Send me the info or post in the comments, I’ll be sure to pass it on: Email Facebook Twitter
I stumbled upon this today and thought it was interesting. It’s all the stuff in those e-Card levels from Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros 3.
I, like pretty much everyone else in the world, never actually played these levels. The thought of hooking two Game Boys and scan in all those cards gives me chills. It would have probably just been smarter to put all those levels on a cart and called it Super Mario Advance 5: Super Mario Bros 3 – Part II.
Hey Rune Readers, just doing a small post and check in. I’ve noticed that my last post about Super Mario Advance has been on the top page for quite some time. Nothing much exciting has been going on in my world, other that continuing to work on the comic and hoping that people continue to read it. Nanno’s Story is going to be getting into full swing soon, I hope that you enjoy it.
If you’ve been following me on Twitter, you may also know about a small side project I am working on with friends. We’re in the pilot stages of doing a podcast, doing test runs to get a feel for recording. Hopefully we’ll get something up to par for broadcast, most likely when we dump the Singstar mics and get some real equipment. Currently it’s a video gaming podcast, but don’t be too surprised if I sneak some Rune Hunters news in there every so often.
Finally, it’s that time of the year for large scale video gaming releases. In between work on the comic and actual work, I’ve been getting in some time on Dragon Age: Origins. I really am enjoying this one so far, a very well made RPG with some endearing characters. Of course, it’s Bioware, they seem to have a knack for creating endearing characters. I’m looking forward to New Super Mario Bros. Wii, which comes out tomorrow, for some old school platforming fun. Finally, I am tempted to pick up Mordern Warfare 2, but having never played any of the other Call of Duties, I am hesitant on this choice. I hear it’s awesome and I do have friends playing all of the time on Live, so it would probably be quite fun.
Anyways, that went on a bit longer than I expected. Time to get back on to work on the comic.
As a break to the rather bleak and depressing chapter I’ve been doing, I decided to make a picture of everyone’s favorite student witch and her pet. I hope you enjoy it.
Just posting to wish everyone a Happy Holdiday season, and I have a special treat for this Sunday’s comic.
Happy New Year, Rune Readers. I hope your end of year festivities were fun, and wish you all the best in the coming year. Man, were already in the teens, pretty soon this century is going to be hitting puberty.
Hey Rune Readers, it’s been a bit since I made a robust blog entry. Recently I took a weekend trip with the misses to Portland, Oregon. It’s always a great place to visit, always reminding me of Seattle if it was run by Evergreeners. While there, we made the rounds to places we enjoy, like Powell’s Books:
Also, part of taking in the local culture is taking in the local food, like Gustav’s/The Rheinlander, and Voodoo Doughnut.
All in all, it was great getting away for a short bit of time, but now it’s time to get down and dirty with the rest of Nanno’s Story and on back to Asura’s. I’ve got a lot of neat things planned, so tuned and keep reading.
