Once again, the latest Rune Hunters chapter has come to an end, and once again I will be taking a quick break to do some side comics. So stay tuned and I hope that you enjoy them.

Well, on September 12th it is. The trailer for the Venture Bros. Season 4.5 was recently posted on the Adult Swim website, so have a look and enjoy. I’m a big fan of this show and am really looking forward to the second half of the season.
Just a couple more weeks of side comics and then we’ll be back to the main course. Ada will take the stage again, hopefully her friends and her can finally get out of the dark pit they’ve trapped themselves in. More fun, magic and mystery awaits in Chapter VII.
Also, I hope the side comics have been to your liking so far. I’m done with the BRU Con Comic Caption Contest ones, and I will be rolling out a good fan comic and original comic tomorrow and next week. Enjoy.
Saw this at the Tacoma Mall yesterday, just wanted to share it.
It was a soda machine displaying the dreaded blue screen of death, making procurement of an ice cold beverage difficult. The best part was that this machine was located right outside the Apple store, and is probably the best free advertisement they could get for changing OSes.
Hey Rune Readers, I just got back from another year’s PAX Prime. I had a great time and am dead tired, so I’ll be brief. Saw lots of awesome gaming celebs, played lots of awesome games and generally had a great time. I’ll go more in depth later, with pics. For now I need to get some rest.
Yeah, I know I said I’d get those PAX impressions written up. They are still coming, I was just more worn out from the convention then expected. To make up for it, please enjoy some recent artwork I’ve posted over on my deviantArt account.
I know, I’m a little late on posting my impressions PAX 2010. Those of you that follow the podcast on our sister site, have probably already gotten an idea of what I liked there. Still, I figured a little written reflection wouldn’t hurt. That, and it would be nice to take a break from writing about schoolgirl witches and warriors.
So PAX Prime, the video gaming pride and joy of the northwest, is a convention I’ve been attending for some time now. Hosted by the folks at Penny-Arcade, PAX is a weekend long getaway in which to get engrossed in gaming and geek culture. The main attraction is the ever enlarging Expo Hall, where a good chunk of the games industry goes to show off there latest and greatest games. There’s demos aplenty and swag galore. It really is a mini E3…well, mini may not be the best way to describe it. It is quite large in it’s own right.
Hey Rune Readers, once again another chapter comes to a close, which means another short break filled with other, non-Rune related comics. The next chapter once again stars Asura, and I am really looking forward to it. I anticipate the chapter being a bit longer than usual, and will go a ways towards bridging the gap between Ada and Asura’s disparate storyline. In the meantime, I hope you enjoy some fun side comics while I get the main course prepared.
I would also like to hear from you, the reader, about how you feel Rune Hunters is going. We’re over 2 years and 100 pages into the comic (I know, I’m slow), and I just wanted to get a general sense of where people are at with the storyline. Who’s your favorite character? What do you like or dislike about the comic? Does the comic just need a dash more action/humor/drama/fanservice? I want to know, so don’t leave me hanging.
Yeah I know, it has been a longer break than usual this time. What with the holiday season and all, I’ve needed to take a break from the main Rune Hunters comic and just relax a bit. Like Batman, I’ve also needed time to prepare. That, and play lots of Red Dead Redemption.
But fear not, dear readers, new Rune Hunters comics will be coming soon. My sabbatical will be coming to an end after next Sunday’s side comic, at which point a new storyline about Asura should start appearing. In the meantime, enjoy some other artwork I’ve done recently. They are all available after the jump.
