At the ECCC this weekend

Well, not as a guest or featured artist or anything cool like that.  I’ll just be heading attending the Emerald City ComiCon in Seattle tomorrow.   There I’ll be checking out booths, hitting up panels and passing out Rune Hunters fliers.  If I’m lucky, I might catch a glimpse of Leonard Nimoy, Stan Lee and Wil Wheaton.

In case you just found this site because of the above mentioned fliers, welcome, I hope you stick around.  In case you’re wondering why there seems to be a distinct lack of runes and/or hunting in today’s comic, that’s because I am between chapters and am doing one off comics for a few weeks.  Until then, why not get caught up on the story thus far.

As for you regular readers wondering where all the Rune Hunters have gone, don’t worry they’ll be back very soon.  The draft on the sixth chapter is coming along well.

Rune Hunters Will Return Next Week

Yes, this is the last week of side comics before the main course.  The next chapter of Rune Hunters will begin next Sunday.  Sorry about the abnormally long break, things are finally starting to settle down around here and I can concentrate on the series proper.

Why the long break?

Hello Rune Readers, as some of you may have noticed, this site has been devoid of both runes and the hunting thereof for little over a month.  In their stead has been a glut of comics about either food or sci-fi video games.  As I stated in a previous news post, I was going on a short break in between Nanno’s chapter and the next one.  I usually need some downtime between chapters, otherwise I tend to go crazy.

I wasn’t expecting an avalanche of issues to fall into my life at around the same time.  Without going into the details, I’ve managed to sort through most all of them and am in prime condition to get the show back on the road.  The next chapter is turning out nicely and I am very excited about the path that Asura and her friends are headed on.

I love my Rune Hunters story and characters, and I never planned to abandon it.  Sorry for all of the silly and pointless comics the last five weeks, I’ll try not to take such a long break in the future.
